About Tom
I’m a British English teacher with over 20 years of ESL teaching experience, specialising in IELTS Writing and Speaking.
Since 2005, I’ve worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them develop the skills needed to communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively in English. My focus is simple: real improvement that leads to higher IELTS scores.
I specialise exclusively in Writing and Speaking. These are the areas where expert guidance makes the biggest difference, and where most students struggle to reach their target band.
My teaching style is straightforward and practical. I don’t rely on tricks or shortcuts. Instead, I help you understand how to structure your ideas, use language accurately, and express yourself naturally—skills that are essential not just for the test, but for real-world communication.
